Car Showroom Management Software: Know the Profit on Every Car

Published on 2 min read

A successful showroom is not run from a notebook: stock ageing, sales and consignment contracts, instalments, finance companies and cash. Here is what your system should do.

In a car showroom money moves in many directions at once: cars you bought, cars you sell on consignment for their owners, customers paying in instalments, and deals waiting on a finance company. Without a clear system it is hard to answer the key question: how much did you really make on each car?

1. Stock and stock age

Know every car's full cost (purchase plus expenses) and how many days it has been on the lot, with alerts for slow-moving stock.

2. Sales and consignment contracts

Printed, branded, e-signed sales contracts — and for consignment cars, an owner contract, owner price approval and payout tracking, ideally through a link on the owner's phone.

3. Instalments and finance companies

Track every instalment and due date, get alerted about overdue ones, and follow each finance request and its status.

4. Cash and reports

Every collection and expense goes through a cash box or bank account, with customer statements, monthly P&L, profit per car and branch comparisons.

5. Team and website

Role and branch permissions, a full activity log, attendance and payroll — plus a website that lists your cars and sends customer leads straight to the dashboard.

At Aryteach we built our car showroom management system to bring all of this together. Contact us to request a demo.
